Our daughter and her friends had a blast at the Farmhouse last weekend. The pancake breakfast and country celebration for Jaycie's 8th birthday consisted of horseback riding, western dancing, swimming, and shoot'en balloons! The pancakes were enjoyed as much as the cake!

We just completed a wonderful spring wedding season here at the 1899 Farmhouse! The gazebo was a very popular site for spring ceremonies, and as it heated up, the front porch and under the grove of pecan trees became the favorites. Its amazing how much "shade" can cool things down. Our high-grade mesquito misting system continued to work great - not one complaint about mesquitos! Sparklers were the most popular choice for sending off the bride and groom. We are always sad to see our couples leave the venue after months of planning. Best wishes to all you newly weds, and please keep in touch.
